Meeting Location: Rowser Building 1739 Richmond Hwy, Stafford, VA 22554
We used to meet at the Carl Lewis Community Center but sadly there was a fire.
Meeting day/time:
There is a troop meeting every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm throughout the year, including summer.
There are a few Wednesday nights that we do not meet: during exam week mid semester, spring break, Thanksgiving week, winter break, some summer nights and if SCPS calls off evening activities/snow day. Please check our calendar if you have any questions.
We have about 30 scouts from Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties. Some of the boys cross over in fifth grade from cub scouts while others just join and are new to scouting. We also have a few that have transfered from other troops. The troop population ranges from sixth grade through seniors in high school. Most (not all) of our scouts come from Shirley Heim, Stafford & Dixon Smith Middle Schools and Brooke Point, North Stafford & Colonial Forge High Schools.
Our history goes back to 1954. There is so much to our history that it wouldn't all fit in this little space! Come on over and check us out!
