Hello all!

I will be stepping down as your unit commissioner in December. I LOVE Troop 840, but I am unable to make the weekly meetings. I will be changing jobs on Wednesday and that will require my full attention.

Fall Camporee, October 18 - 20. Please bring $20 to register for this campout by October 9th.
2025 Winter Camp, January 17 - 20, 2025, at Camp T. Brady Saunders. Please let Mr. Gould know if you plan on attending winter camp by the scout meeting on September 25th. Cost will be $100 per scout.

Safe Swim Defense

Updated Safe Swim Defense Training Released

In collaboration with the BSA National Aquatics Subcommittee, ScoutingU has released an updated version of “Safe Swim Defense” online training that is mobile compatible. Adults supervising a swimming activity must have completed Safe Swim Defense training within the previous two years. To access the updated training, log onto my.scouting.org and search the BSA Learn Center catalog for “Safe Swim Defense.” Additional resources on BSA aquatics programs are also available.
